Please explain the setup and color balance charges on your price list.

Setup and color balance procedures include selecting frames representative of the project, putting film on the printer, exposing the product, processing it and evaluating the density, contrast or color balance. Rarely do these steps result in putting the film immediately into production, so the steps are repeated until the film is ready for production. The charges are to recover the cost of this procedure.
